Inter Milan boss Luciano Spalletti has reportedly identified Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal as a potential transfer target.
Spalletti is under pressure to strengthen his first-team squad due to the high-profile incomings at neighbours AC Milan, and it appears that he has set his sights on a player with Serie A experience.
According to Bild, Vidal has attracted interest from the Italian giants and Spalletti is prepared to offer in the region of £44m.
Since leaving Juventus in 2015, Chilean international Vidal has gone on to contribute 16 goals in 89 appearances for the Bundesliga champions.
Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in his signature, but Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that the 30-year-old is not for sale.
