Juventus have confirmed the arrival of Paul Pogba in Turin ahead of the completion of a free transfer deal from Manchester United this summer.
The Frenchman's future has been one of the hottest topics in football once again for several months, as the 29-year-old ran down his contract at Old Trafford for a second time.
The midfielder first left Manchester upon the expiration of his contract back in 2012, where he moved to Juventus and went on to score 34 goals and register 40 assists in 178 games for the club in all competitions, helping the Old Lady to four Serie A titles, two Coppa Italias and three Supercoppa Italianas during a four-year stay.
Potential moves to Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and even United's rivals Manchester City have been tipped during the transfer window, but another move to Turin is on the verge of completion.
Courtesy of their official Twitter account, Juventus posted a video of Pogba stepping out of a private jet after landing in Turin on Friday, with the caption: "Incoming..."
The World Cup winner is expected to complete his medical in Italy over the weekend before an official announcement will be made to confirm a second switch from Old Trafford to the Old Lady.
Earlier on Friday, Pogba had all but confirmed his return to Italy after teasing a video of him onboard the private jet, during which he said: "It's time. It's time, yes sir. See you soon."
After completing a club-record deal of £89m to United from Juventus in 2016, Pogba went on to score 39 goals and set up 51 more in 232 games for the Red Devils, winning the Europa League and EFL Cup during his second spell with the club, which would finish with a disappointing 2021-22 campaign under both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick. body check tags ::
