Juventus have reportedly been in touch with Mason Greenwood's representatives to discuss a possible loan move for the Manchester United forward during the upcoming transfer market.

The 21-year-old is now free to resume his football career, having seen all recent criminal charges against him dropped, but his future at Old Trafford is unclear.

Greenwood has not turned out for the Red Devils since January 2022 due to the serious charges that he was facing following allegations from a woman.

The forward was initially arrested on suspicion of rape and assault, and he was then further arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and threats to kill.

Greenwood was also facing charges of attempted rape, engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, with a trial date set for November 2023, but the charges have now been dropped, and he can now technically resume his career.

Man United are still conducting their own internal investigation, with the Red Devils deciding whether to bring him back into the first-team picture for next season.

A recent report claimed that Greenwood is not expecting to play for Man United again, with a number of clubs, including AC Milan and Roma, said to be keen on his signature.

According to The Sun, there is also genuine interest from Juventus, with the Old Lady keen to sign the forward on a long-term loan deal during the upcoming market.

The report claims that the Turin giants have already been in contact with Greenwood's representatives to discuss whether a move could be possible at the end of the season.

Greenwood had previously been viewed as one of the best young talents in world football, representing Man United on 129 occasions in all competitions, scoring 35 goals and contributing 12 assists.

The Red Devils are said to be exploring all options on the table, which include terminating his contract, selling him, or sanctioning a long-term loan deal in a bid to rebuild his career abroad.

A final decision from Man United is expected to be made in the early stages of the summer, with Greenwood still having two years left to run on his contract at Old Trafford.

As well as the interest from Italy, a number of Turkish clubs are said to be keeping a close eye on the developments surrounding the Red Devils academy product. body check tags ::
