Juventus are reportedly optimistic about Dusan Vlahovic signing a contract extension with the club amid ongoing interest from Arsenal and Manchester United.
Despite a promising end to the 2021-22 season, Vlahovic struggled in the following campaign under manager Max Allegri, recording 10 goals in 27 Serie A appearances, which had led to speculation that he could be moved on in the next transfer window.
However, following a back injury, Vlahovic has rediscovered some of his top form at the beginning of the current season, contributing four goals and one assist for Juventus as they look to mount their first serious title challenge in several years.
According to a report from 90min, the striker had requested to leave the club last summer, but after Allegri agreed to the request, a move could not be completed, which resulted in the player remaining at Juve.
The report adds that following his bright start to the current campaign, Juventus are now keen to retain the services of the Serbian international and have already opened negotiations with his representatives despite interest from Arsenal, Man United and Bayern Munich.
The Bianconeri spent around £61m on the Serbian in January 2022 after the striker posted a Serie A record of 33 goals in a calendar year back in 2021.
It is understood that the 23-year-old's current contract runs until 2026, and La Vecchia Signora are keen to extend that term until at least 2028.
Juventus, currently placed second in the Serie A standings, return from the international break with a blockbuster fixture against league leaders Inter Milan at the Allianz Stadium on November 26.
