Roma forward Erik Lamela has revealed that he wants to sign a new long-term contract with the Italian outfit.
The 21-year-old, who scored 15 goals in 33 games for Roma last season, has been strongly linked with both Manchester United and Manchester City.
However, he told Sport Week: "I'm absolutely staying. I'm more determined to remain in Rome. With the relationship I have with the people, I feel at home.
"It is not easy to achieve great things with so many youngsters in the group. I believe this team is better than the table suggests."
Lamela joined Roma from River Plate in 2011.
