Manchester City have reportedly sent scouts to Italy with a mission to watch Roma forward Erik Lamela this evening.
The Argentine winger is in action tonight at the San Siro as Roma face AC Milan in a crucial clash in the race for European qualification.
Lamela has been consistently linked with a move to the English club in recent months after a string of impressive displays in the Eternal City.
City manager Roberto Mancini is keen on the 20-year-old and has sent a pair of scouts to Italy for this evening's big Serie A match, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Lamela has been in fine form for the Giallorossi this season, scoring 15 goals in 31 appearances.
