Leicester City will reportedly 'resist any move' from Manchester United for Harry Maguire as the Foxes look to tie the England international to a new long-term contract.
United are believed to have made it clear to Leicester that they want to sign Maguire this summer, while the 25-year-old is said to be confident of making the move to Old Trafford.
However, according to BBC Sport, Leicester are not interested in selling the central defender, and will refuse to discuss a deal with United ahead of the closing of the transfer window on August 9.
Maguire, who impressed for England at the 2018 World Cup, signed a five-year contract with Leicester upon his arrival from Hull City last summer, but could now be offered new and improved terms.
The former Sheffield United youngster appeared in all 38 of Leicester's Premier League matches last term before helping England reach the semi-finals of this summer's competition in Russia.
