Jesse Lingard has reportedly been cut from Manchester United's core squad of 22 players as the speculation surrounding the attacker's future continues.
The 28-year-old has only made three appearances for the Red Devils during the 2020-21 campaign, while he has not made a single Premier League outing this term.
A number of clubs, including West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur and Sheffield United, are thought to be interested in signing the England international on loan for the second half of the season.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Lingard has been cut from United's 22-man core squad, with recent arrival Amad Diallo also moving above the academy product in the pecking order.
The versatile attacker, who has a contract at Old Trafford until June 2022, last featured for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side in the FA Cup against Watford on January 9.
However, he has only made the bench for one of United's last four Premier League fixtures.
