Lazio president Claudio Lotito has insisted that Italian international Antonio Candreva is not for sale.
The 26-year-old midfielder was the subject of reported interest from Manchester United earlier this month, while Napoli are also believed to be monitoring his situation.
However, Lotito said that he has not received a bid from their Serie A rivals and denied any willingness to enter into negotiations.
"He's not for sale," the 56-year-old told reporters. "Napoli? They have never called me, but if they do, I'd say he's not for sale.
"Lazio are the only club who have bought players without selling. We wanted to strengthen the team again."
The Biancocelesti have signed nine players this summer, including Lucas Biglia and Felipe Anderson.
