Porto attacker Luis Diaz is reportedly not interested in joining Tottenham Hotspur this month.

The 25-year-old has been in impressive form for his Portuguese club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 16 times and registering six assists in 28 appearances in all competitions.

Manchester United and Liverpool have been credited with an interest in the Colombia international, who has netted 14 times in 18 league appearances this term.

However, a recent report claimed that Tottenham had made a £37.7m offer for the attacker in the hope of securing his signature before the end of the transfer window.

According to Record, Diaz is aware of the interest from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium but is not currently open to joining Antonio Conte's side, as he believes that it would be a sidewards step.

The attacker, who is with his national team preparing for their World Cup qualification fixtures, was allegedly watched by Man United last weekend.

Diaz still has two-and-a-half years left to run on his contract at Estadio do Dragao. body check tags ::
