Real Madrid are allegedly preparing to table a £100m offer for Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.
Champions League holders Madrid are allegedly intending to renew their squad before the start of next season, with Costa Rica stopper Keylor Navas a potential exit from the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Manchester Evening News reports that the arrival of Julen Lopetegui as the club's new manager could trigger a move for De Gea that would make him the most expensive goalkeeper in history.
The newspaper reports that De Gea, who was Lopetegui's first-choice keeper as Spain boss, could be tempted by the assurance of first-team action, as well as a reunion with his former international coach.
The Spanish stopper, who has been continually linked with Los Blancos since 2015, has one year left on his current deal at Old Trafford.
