Manchester City football development executive Patrick Vieria has been seen at Lille's Ligue 1 match against Paris Saint-Germain at the Stade-Lille Metropole.
The Frenchman is believed to be there to watch Lille playmaker Eden Hazard.
Hazard has been linked to a number of Europe's top clubs during the past few months.
Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid are also thought to be interested in the Belgian.
