Manchester United have reportedly agreed a fee of £80m with Lazio for the signing of midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The Serbia international has made a name for himself as one of Europe's hottest prospects, scoring 13 goals and notching up nine assists in 45 appearances for the Biancocelesti this season.
At Old Trafford, meanwhile, Michael Carrick's impending retirement and the likely departure of Marouane Fellaini have left Jose Mourinho seeking replacements in midfield.
According to The Sun, Man United were initially reluctant to meet the Serie A side's asking price but, with several other European heavyweights monitoring the 23-year-old, have opted to raise their offer.
The report goes on to claim that a deal has now been agreed between the two sides following a breakthrough in talks last week, which should see Milinkovic-Savic heading to Manchester this summer.
Manchester City and Real Madrid have also been linked with the Spain-born player.
