Manchester United have reportedly not received any offers for midfielder Paul Pogba ahead of the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old has just over six months remaining on his contract at Old Trafford and there are no signs to suggest that he will negotiate a new deal.
According to the Manchester Evening News, interim boss Ralf Rangnick is prepared to let Pogba leave the club in the winter window; however, the Red Devils are yet to receive a 'single serious' offer for the Frenchman.
The report adds that United were unable to sign a new centre-midfielder last summer as they decided to prioritise the signings of Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo, spending over £100m in the process.
United were interested in both West Ham United's Declan Rice and Rennes' Eduardo Camavinga, now at Real Madrid, though a deal for either player failed to materialise.
With Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata also out of contract next summer, Rangnick is now hoping to recruit a new midfielder in the New Year.
Pogba, who has previously been linked with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, has not featured for United since his dismissal in the 5-0 defeat against Liverpool in October due to a hamstring injury. body check tags ::
