Manchester United could reportedly attempt to bring Lazio striker Ciro Immobile to Old Trafford during this summer's transfer window.
The 30-year-old has been in brilliant form for his Italian club during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring 30 times in 33 appearances, including 27 goals in just 26 Serie A outings.
Everton have recently been linked with the Italy international, who has a contract with Simone Inzaghi's side until the end of the 2022-23 season.
However, according to Calciomercato, United are also currently exploring the possibility of signing the experienced striker this summer.
The report claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are still searching for a replacement for Romelu Lukaku despite managing to extend Odion Ighalo's loan deal until January 2021.
Immobile's form this season sees him sit second behind Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski in the race for the European Golden Boot, while he has managed 116 goals in 167 appearances for Lazio since arriving from Sevilla in 2016.
Marcus Rashford has recovered from a back problem over the lockdown period and will be fit for United's Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur on June 19, leaving Solskjaer with plenty of attacking options as the 20-time English champions prepare to resume their season.
