RB Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff has insisted that Christopher Nkunku will not be leaving the German club during this summer's transfer window.

The France international has been in impressive form for Leipzig during the 2021-22 campaign, making 45 appearances in all competitions, contributing 30 goals and 20 assists in the process.

A number of clubs, including Manchester United, Arsenal, Inter Milan and AC Milan, are believed to be keen to sign the attacker in the upcoming market.

A recent report claimed that the Bundesliga outfit would be looking for a fee in the region of £52m for the Frenchman, who has scored 17 goals and registered 15 assists in 30 league outings this term.

However, Mintzlaff has said that the in-demand 24-year-old will not be leaving the club under any circumstances this summer.

"I have said it before, and I will say it again here: Nkunku will be our player again next season. Our goal is to keep the team together for next season", Mintzlaff told Sky Deutschland.

Nkunku, who has played in a number of different attacking positions this season, still has more than two years left to run on his current deal with the Red Bulls. body check tags ::
