Ibrahim Sangare has signed a new deal with PSV Eindhoven despite being linked with a move to Manchester United.
The 24-year-old was a target for a number of Premier League clubs, including United who are looking to add to their midfield options following the departures of Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba.
West Ham were also admirers of Sangare and were considering a move, with their previous midfield target Amadou Onana closing in on a move to Everton.
However, Sangare has ended speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League after signing a new contract with PSV until 2027.
Commenting on his new deal, Sangare said: "I have felt at home since the first day, the way I am received and how people treat me makes me very happy.
"I want to become champion with PSV and reach the UEFA Champions League."
The Ivory Coast international is expected to feature for PSV in the second leg of their Champions League third-round qualifying tie against Monaco on Tuesday. body check tags ::
