Manchester United are reportedly ready to make Edinson Cavani one of the best-paid players in the Premier League as they line up an offer for the Uruguay international.
Cavani's current deal with Paris Saint-Germain will expire at the end of June, meaning that, as it stands, he will be available on a free transfer ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
A number of clubs, including Atletico Madrid and Newcastle United, have been linked with the South American, who is PSG's all-time leading goalscorer with 200 in all competitions.
The Red Devils have also been credited with an interest in recent weeks, and according to Todofichajes, the 20-time English champions are preparing a lucrative contract for the 33-year-old.
The report claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have already been in contact with Cavani's agent and an agreement could be reached 'in the coming weeks'.
The striker has struggled to command a regular starting spot at PSG this season but has still managed seven goals in 22 appearances for the French champions.
