Manchester United have reportedly cooled their interest in Leicester City defender Harry Maguire to pursue a £30m deal for Barcelona's Yerry Mina ahead of the closing of the summer transfer window.
United boss Jose Mourinho is keen to bring a new central defender to Old Trafford ahead of the 2018-19 campaign, but has been frustrated in his pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur's Toby Alderweireld.
Maguire has since been strongly linked with a move to the 20-time English champions, but Leicester are believed to be unwilling to sell the England international for less than £65m.
According to Sky Sports News, United have now switched their attention to Mina, who joined Barcelona from Palmeiras in the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old struggled during the second half of last season, but scored three times for Colombia during an impressive 2018 World Cup, which has led to a host of speculation surrounding his future.
Everton have also been strongly linked with a move for Mina as the transfer window approaches its latter stages.
