Manchester United have reportedly placed contract talks with Eric Bailly on hold during the international break.
The 26-year-old's future at Old Trafford is currently being called into question as his deal is due to expire next June.
The Red Devils are said to be keen to sign the Ivory Coast international to fresh terms, but a recent report claimed that Bailly was prepared to reject the chance to pen an extension as he does not feel that he has the full support of head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Bailly is believed to have been furious that he was left out of the recent Europa League clash with AC Milan, and the defender was also absent against Leicester City in the FA Cup last weekend.
According to The Mirror, contact talks have been placed on hold during the international break, but the former Villarreal centre-back is keen to remain at Old Trafford if he is promised regular action.
Bailly, who has struggled with a number of fitness problems during his time in Manchester, has made 15 appearances in all competitions during the 2020-21 campaign.
