Manchester United are reportedly prepared to battle Real Madrid for the signature of Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland.
The Red Devils were strongly linked with the Norway international during the January transfer window, but Dortmund ultimately won the race to sign the centre-forward from Red Bull Salzburg.
Haaland has been in brilliant form for BVB since his arrival, scoring 13 times in 12 appearances, including a goal in Saturday's 4-0 win over Schalke 04 as the Bundesliga returned.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Madrid have identified the 19-year-old as a leading target in the final third of the field, but the Spanish outfit will face competition for United should the youngster become available.
Haaland has now scored 41 times in 34 appearances for Salzburg and Dortmund during the 2019-20 campaign, including 10 goals in eight Champions League outings.
The teenager's current deal at Signal Iduna Park is due to run until the summer of 2024.
