Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Pogba could reportedly swap clubs this summer, with the former heading back to Manchester United and the latter returning to Juventus.
Pogba continues to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford, and Man United are in a difficult position when it comes to the Frenchman, as his contract is due to expire next June.
Ronaldo is out of contract at Juventus next summer, meanwhile, and the Portugal international is believed to be unsettled in Turin.
According to transfer expect Ian McGarry, there is a possibility that the two players could swap clubs during this summer's transfer window.
"Manchester United are involved in a complex negotiation which could possibly see Paul Pogba leave Old Trafford and Cristiano Ronaldo return to Old Trafford, with Pogba going in the other direction to Juventus," McGarry said on the Transfer Window Podcast.
"Now, we see things like the stars aligning, and in this particular case it does feel like that may be the gravitation in terms of we have reported that Ronaldo wants to leave Serie A, we know that Pogba is unhappy and wants to leave Manchester United."
Ronaldo turned out for the Red Devils between 2003 and 2009 before moving to Real Madrid, while Pogba represented Juventus between 2012 and 2016 before heading back to Old Trafford. body check tags ::
