Manchester United defender 'to say goodbye to club in Newcastle United clash'

Aaron Wan-Bissaka will allegedly say goodbye to the Manchester United fans following Wednesday's Premier League clash with Newcastle United.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka will reportedly say goodbye to the Manchester United supporters following Wednesday's Premier League clash with Newcastle United.

The Red Devils will do a lap of honour after the game against the Magpies, with the contest representing the club's final home fixture of the 2023-24 campaign.

Man United will then end their Premier League season away to Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon, before taking on Manchester City in the FA Cup final on May 25.

Raphael Varane's exit from Old Trafford on a free transfer has already been confirmed, while Anthony Martial and Jonny Evans are also set to leave the club when their contracts expire at the end of June.

According to The Sun, Wan-Bissaka will also say his goodbyes on Wednesday, with the full-back expected to leave the Red Devils during this summer's transfer window.

Wan-Bissaka 'set to leave Man United this summer'

The report claims that Man United are prepared to sell Wan-Bissaka for a cut-price fee this summer, with his contract at Old Trafford only having another year left to run.

Crystal Palace are believed to be interested in re-signing the defender, with his asking price thought to be around £20m.

Wan-Bissaka has been a regular for the Red Devils this season, making 27 appearances in all competitions, having benefited from the team's defensive problems.

Diogo Dalot is ahead of him when it comes to the right-back role, though, and he is also behind Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia in the pecking order for the left-back spot.

Man United could sign another full-back this summer, with Wan-Bissaka not believed to be in the club's plans moving forward, so he is set to depart after five years at Old Trafford.

Who else could leave Man United this summer?

Varane's exit has already been confirmed, with the Frenchman expected to return from injury for the team's final match of the Premier League season against Brighton this weekend.

Evans and Martial are also set to leave on free transfers, while a decision needs to be made on Tom Heaton, who only has a deal at the club until the end of next month.

Victor Lindelof, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Donny van de Beek, Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho could also all leave Old Trafford on permanent deals this summer.

Marcus Rashford continues to be linked with a possible exit, but it is difficult to imagine the England international leaving in the upcoming market.

Meanwhile, Bruno Fernandes will allegedly be staying at the club despite the recent speculation surrounding a departure, with the Portuguese said to have interest from Saudi Arabia, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich. body check tags ::
