Manchester United have hinted that they are looking to replace David de Gea after posting a job advertisement for a scouting role with an emphasis on goalkeepers.
De Gea has been a mainstay for United over the past nine seasons and has been crowned their Player of the Year in four of those campaigns.
However, the Spaniard's stock has fallen following a disappointing 2019-20 campaign that saw him make a number of costly errors.
Dean Henderson's form on loan at Sheffield United has added further pressure on De Gea, who only signed a new four-year deal last September.
To make matters worse for the 29-year-old, United have posted a job advertisement for a First Team Recruitment Analyst, with "a specific emphasis on goalkeepers".
Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Sergio Romero, who has served as back-up to De Gea in recent seasons, is considering a move away this summer.
