Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly pondering a move for Mexican striker Alan Pulido.
The 20-year-old, who plays for Mexico's Under-20s international side, has been described as the country's new Javier Hernandez.
Manchester United frontman Hernandez, known as Chicharito, is thought to have informed Ferguson of the qualities of the promising hitman, according to The Mirror.
It has been reported that Pulido could join Old Trafford from club side Tigres for a fee in the region of £4m.
The striker racked up three goals in the FIFA Under-20s Championships last year and earned a call-up for Mexico's senior team for the Copa America.
