Manchester United are ready to make a £24m bid for Borussia Dortmund's Ilkay Gundogan, according to a report.
The midfielder has been out of action since August because of a back injury, but David Moyes wants to push ahead with his plans and do a deal in the transfer window.
The Mirror says that Gundogan's representatives have already had talks with the Red Devils, but speaking on Thursday, Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said that the club will soon open contract talks with the Germany international.
Gundogan has also been linked with Real Madrid.
