Manchester United are reportedly prepared to part ways with Shinji Kagawa in order to secure the signing of Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus.
The Premier League champions have been linked with the German international, who has a release clause in his contract, said to be worth £30m.
United are considering launching a bid for Reus in the January transfer window with out-of-favour Kagawa returning to his former club as part of the deal, according to The Times.
Kagawa has failed to secure a regular spot in United's first team under manager David Moyes and reports have claimed that Dortmund are open to the Japan international returning to the Bundesliga.
