Manchester United are reportedly holding off from making an official approach for Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho until the final week of the transfer window.
The England international remains United's top attacking target for the remaining three weeks of the summer window, despite the emergence of cheaper alternatives.
However, Dortmund have made clear that they will not sell Sancho unless their valuation - thought to be around £108m - is met in full.
According to the Transfer Window Podcast, though, United believe that BVB will eventually give in and sell the 20-year-old for a lower fee in the final days of the window.
As the report indicates, that would leave United with all their eggs in one basket as they would have little time to find an alternative should Dortmund refuse to budge.
Sancho, under contract at the Westfalenstadion for another three years, scored for the German club in their 5-0 DFB-Pokal win at Duisburg on Monday.
