Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek is reportedly a transfer target for Manchester United.
The Red Devils are allegedly open to the idea of Paul Pogba leaving Old Trafford either in January or at the end of the campaign, which will see the club move for two new central midfielders.
According to the Daily Mail, Van de Beek has emerged as a leading target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, although the English giants are likely to face competition from Real Madrid.
The Netherlands international has been in impressive form for Ajax during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring seven times and contributing six assists in 23 outings in all competitions.
Madrid were strongly linked with his services during the summer, but the Dutchman remained in Amsterdam.
Ajax - dumped out of the Champions League on Tuesday night - would be in a strong position when it comes to any potential negotiations, though, as Van de Beek has a contract with the Eredivisie giants until June 2022.
United will be looking to make it three Premier League wins in a row when they face Everton in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
