Manchester United midfielder Fred has reportedly changed his agents amid claims that he could leave Old Trafford during this summer's transfer window.
There is currently widespread speculation surrounding the Brazilian's future, with the Red Devils said to be open to letting him leave for the right price during the current market.
The 30-year-old was a regular for Erik ten Hag's side during the 2022-23 campaign, featuring on 56 occasions in all competitions, scoring six goals and registering six assists in the process.
Fred only started 12 times in the Premier League, though, with Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes proving to be Man United's first-choice midfield for much of the season.
Mason Mount has arrived to boost that department for the Red Devils this summer, which could make it even more difficult for Fred to secure regular action during the 2023-24 campaign.
Fulham are being linked with the South American, while there have also been suggestions that Roma are interested in bringing him to Italy this summer.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the midfielder has changed agents, suggesting that he could secure a move away from the 20-time English champions this summer.
Romano claims that a number of Saudi Arabian clubs are also keen on Fred, who wants to be an important player at club level during the 2023-24 campaign.
The Brazilian made the move to Old Trafford from Shakhtar Donetsk in July 2018, and he has represented the Red Devils on 213 occasions, scoring 14 goals and registering 19 assists in the process.
A departure for Fred would likely lead to Man United entering the market for another midfielder despite bringing in Mount, who could play alongside Casemiro and Fernandes in the team's first-choice midfield.
Fiorentina's Sofyan Amrabat is thought to be a target for the club, and a departure for Fred might see Scott McTominay stay at Old Trafford, although he is also being strongly linked with an exit.
Despite securing a return to the Champions League for the 2023-24 campaign, Man United do have a huge transfer budget this summer due to financial restrictions.
However, there are funds available to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana, while Atalanta BC's Rasmus Hojlund is seemingly the team's leading centre-forward target.
Man United are currently preparing for their first pre-season friendly of the summer against Leeds United on Wednesday, although Fred will not be involved in that contest.
