Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag is reportedly hopeful of selling Harry Maguire, Fred, Scott McTominay and Jadon Sancho over the next two weeks.
The Red Devils made their first signing of the summer transfer window last week, with Mason Mount moving to the club on a five-year contract from Chelsea.
Andre Onana is also said to be closing in on an arrival from Inter Milan, while discussions with Atalanta BC over a deal for centre-forward Rasmus Hojlund are believed to be moving in the right direction.
Man United will have to make some first-team sales this summer to further boost their squad, though, with a second midfielder after Mount believed to be wanted by the club.
According to The Independent, Ten Hag has 'made definitive decisions' on who he wants to be at the club next season, and Maguire, Fred, McTominay and Sancho are not in his plans moving forward.
Maguire is allegedly available for around £35m this summer, with the England international dropping down the pecking order during the 2022-23 campaign.
There is a belief that the club captain is currently the fifth-choice centre-back at Old Trafford, with Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof all ahead of him, in addition to left-back Luke Shaw.
Maguire's recent salary increase will reportedly make it difficult for Man United to sell him this summer, but there are suitors, with West Ham United among those interested.
Fred, meanwhile, is also said to be available for the right price, with Fulham and Roma both credited with an interest in his services during the summer market.
McTominay is another who could be on his way out, with West Ham and Newcastle United both believed to be interested in signing the Scotland international.
Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes were Man United's first-choice midfielders for much of last season, while Mount has now been added into the mix.
Sancho, meanwhile, again found it difficult to make his mark for the Red Devils last season, and there is currently widespread speculation surrounding his future.
The forward, who could potentially be used as a makeweight in a bid for Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane, scored seven goals and registered three assists in 41 matches for Ten Hag's side last term.
Exits for all four could see Man United raise over £100m to add to their summer budget, which would allow Ten Hag to further boost his squad ahead of the 2023-24 campaign. body check tags ::
