Manchester United manager David Moyes has revealed that he expects developments in their pursuit of Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas in the "next day or so".
Fabregas has been linked with a £32m move for the former Arsenal midfielder, and in a press conference ahead of their friendly with the A-League All Stars, Moyes admitted that the club are interested in the 26-year-old.
The 50-year-old told reporters: "I couldn't tell you exactly what the situation is, but I am in contact with the chief executive, who has been dealing with it just now.
"We will hopefully know a little bit more in the next day or so about how it has gone."
It was revealed on Wednesday that club chief executive Ed Woodward had left the pre-season tour to address "urgent transfer business".
