David Moyes has insisted that he would consider adding to his Manchester United squad during the January transfer window.
The champions seemingly struggled to recruit new players during the summer and were only successful in securing the services of Marouane Fellaini from Moyes's former club Everton on deadline day.
However, providing that the right footballer becomes available this winter, Moyes has revealed that he could well bolster his options.
"It is not me saying we are not going to buy anyone in January. We are going to try to if the opportunity is there, but they have to fit the right criteria. If not, we will have to wait until the summer and see if we can get them then," he told reporters.
United have been linked with a handful of players, including Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera, whom they tried to sign in August.
