Napoli are reportedly ready to battle Inter Milan for the signature of Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku.
The 26-year-old only netted 15 goals for the Red Devils during the 2018-19 campaign and has been strongly linked with a move away from the club over the last month.
Inter Milan have been credited with an interest in the Belgium international, although it has been suggested that Financial Fair Play regulations could scupper a move.
United are said to be holding out for £80m amid suggestions that Paris Saint-Germain also want to sign the centre-forward in this summer's transfer window.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli have now joined the race for Lukaku, with the Italian club's president Aurelio De Laurentiis preparing to put a £62m offer on the table.
The Belgian recently said that it would be "a dream" to play in Serie A before hanging up his boots.
