Samir Nasri is expected to discuss his future with Arsene Wenger today, following news of a bid from Manchester United.
It emerged yesterday that the league champions had made a £20m offer for Nasri two weeks ago. However, Arsenal have rejected the amount and demanded £25m instead, according to The Guardian.
Sir Alex Ferguson is viewing the midfielder as a replacement for Paul Scholes, who retired at the end of last season, but Wenger has stated previously that he doesn’t want to lose the player.
The 24-year-old, who is also fancied by Chelsea and Manchester City, has a year left on his contract at Emirates.
Manchester United have signed David de Gea, Phil Jones and Ashley Young so far this summer.
