Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has reportedly urged his club to move for Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier in this summer's transfer window.
Last week, it was claimed that United had 'made contact' with PSG over a move for the right-back, who has not travelled with his French club for their pre-season tour of the United States.
Pogba is a close friend of Aurier, and according to Goal.com, the France international is desperate for the Red Devils to sign the powerful defender, and has made his feelings known to boss Jose Mourinho.
Aurier's time at PSG has largely been hampered by off-the-field problems, including a well-publicised spat with former head coach Laurent Blanc in 2016, which led to a one-month suspension.
The Ivory Coast international started 21 Ligue 1 matches last season, but the arrival of Brazilian Dani Alves from Juventus is said to have unsettled the right-back.
