Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing a £510k-a-week contract offer for Paul Pogba in a bid to prise him away from Manchester United.
The France international is yet to commit his future to the Red Devils beyond 2022, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are running the risk of losing him on a free transfer next year.
The arrival of Lionel Messi at PSG is thought to have scuppered a move for Pogba this summer, though, and United supposedly remain hopeful of tying the midfielder down to a new deal.
According to The Independent, Pogba is still keen to secure a move elsewhere in the summer of 2022, and PSG are prepared to pay him over £500k a week as they seek to fend off interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona.
The report claims that Pogba would rather complete a move to one of the La Liga giants, but PSG's financial muscle compared to Barca and Real Madrid's well-documented economic problems puts the French side in pole position.
Pogba assisted four of Man United's five goals in their 5-1 thrashing of Leeds United at the weekend, and he has struck 38 goals in 207 games for the Red Devils since re-joining in 2016. body check tags ::
