Marcus Rashford is reportedly close to agreeing a new contract extension with Manchester United worth up to £100m.
The 25-year-old has reignited his career under manager Erik ten Hag and contributed with 30 goals and 11 assists in 56 matches across all competitions during the 2022-23 season.
Rashford scored 17 times in 35 Premier League matches, while he also played a starring role in United's EFL Cup triumph, scoring six goals en route to the final.
The England international had previously endured a frustrating 2021-22 campaign and was linked with a possible exit from Old Trafford amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Rashford has since established himself as a star player under Ten Hag, who stated last month that he expects the forward to commit his future to the club.
Rashford, who has been with the Red Devils since the age of seven, is due to see his current contract expire in the summer of 2024.
However, The Mirror reports that the academy graduate is ready to put pen to paper on a new five-year deal, with the option of a further year, and will surpass David de Gea as the club's highest earner.
Rashford is understood to earn a weekly wage of £200,000 under his current terms, but his new deal will see him pocket around £375,000 per week.
De Gea is currently earning approximately the same on a weekly basis, but the Spanish goalkeeper is looking increasingly likely to leave Old Trafford as his contract is due to expire at the end of this month.
The 32-year-old has been included on Man United's released list, but the Red Devils have confirmed that "discussions remain open" with the shot-stopper over a possible extension.
United are looking to negotiate a longer-term contract for De Gea and significantly reduce his wages, but talks between both parties are yet to reach a positive conclusion.
While Rashford has been a senior player at Man United for the last seven years, De Gea is the longest-serving player within the Red Devils dressing room having made over 500 appearances across the last 12 seasons.
With Rashford on the verge of penning fresh terms, United have eight other players out of contract in June 2024, including first-team quartet Anthony Martial, Fred, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof.
Tom Heaton, Brandon Williams, Teden Mengi and Alvaro Fernandez, the latter of whom spent last season on loan at Preston North End, are also due to see their deals expire in a years' time.
