Rennes sporting director Florian Maurice has rejected claims that Manchester United have made a bid for Eduardo Camavinga.

The 18-year-old is allegedly one of the most sought-after players in Europe this summer with just 12 months remaining on his contract.

United have reportedly joined Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid in registering an interest in the teenager, who is expected to depart the Ligue 1 outfit.

However, Maurice has dismissed suggestions that Rennes have already received concrete offers for their most prized asset.

Speaking to TV Rennes, Maurice said: "No offer was received for Eduardo Camavinga, neither from PSG nor from Manchester United. We remain calm about his situation. I know he doesn't want to go free."

While Camavinga's asking price has reportedly been set at £42m, the interested trio will likely try to tempt Rennes into a sale at a lower fee. body check tags ::
