Manchester United will reportedly make a big push to sign James Rodriguez from Real Madrid in the January transfer window.
James, who starred for Colombia at the 2014 World Cup, joined Real Madrid from AS Monaco in the summer of 2014 and scored 17 times in 46 appearances during his first campaign at the Bernabeu.
The attacker has had his injury problems this season, however, and it is understood that he has a strained relationship with Los Blancos boss Rafael Benitez.
According to El Chiringuito, Man United are "very interested" in signing the 24-year-old and have the funds available to press ahead with a move next month.
Reports in Spain have claimed that Benitez is under severe pressure at the Bernabeu, despite leading his team to a 10-2 win over Rayo Vallecano last time out.
