Manchester United will reportedly block any moves for Marcos Rojo in the coming days, despite the Argentine facing limited game time.
The 26-year-old, who moved to Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon in 2014 for £16m, was recently linked with a £10.3m switch to Valencia.
Rojo played 53 times in all competitions under Louis van Gaal, but new manager Jose Mourinho has not used the defender in any of this season's games so far.
The return of Luke Shaw, who spent seven months on the treatment table with a broken leg, is expected to keep Rojo on the sidelines, but according to Yahoo Sport, United intend to keep the player for the season.
The report adds that the Red Devils have received two formal offers for Rojo, but a number of interested clubs have been unable to match the defender's wages.
