Sergio Romero will reportedly soon hold talks with Manchester United to determine his position at the club ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
The 33-year-old has been David de Gea's understudy at Old Trafford since arriving in 2015, making 59 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions.
Romero was reportedly unhappy at being overlooked for the recent FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea, while he was also not handed an opportunity in the Premier League despite De Gea's patchy form.
Dean Henderson could return to the 20-time English champions this summer following a loan spell at Sheffield United, which is likely to push the experienced Argentine further down the pecking order.
According to The Sun, Romero will hold talks with United over his future and is open to seeking a move should head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer make it clear that there is no future for him at the club.
Leeds United and Everton have both recently been credited with an interest in the South American.
