Cardiff City manager Russell Slade has hinted that the club could be interested in making a loan move for Manchester United frontman James Wilson.
The highly-rated Old Trafford striker is thought to be open to moving out on loan to gain experience, leaving a whole host of clubs reportedly switching their sights towards the 19-year-old.
Fellow Championship outfit Derby County have already made their intentions clear, while City's Slade has suggested that he would not say no to the chance of landing the forward.
"Obviously he's a player of strong ability," said the Cardiff manager, according to Wales Online.
"He's somebody that Manchester United think very highly about. It would be wrong if people turned their heads away when James Wilson was available. So that's not a no from me."
Wilson has made 14 senior appearances for United, scoring three goals in the process.
