Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Ajax playmaker Hakim Ziyech as a potential summer signing.
Ziyech has enjoyed a superb campaign for the Dutch giants, with a total of 18 goals and 15 assists coming from 37 outings in the Eredivisie and Champions League.
However, the 26-year-old has been linked with a number of top European clubs, with Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid all said to hold an interest in the player.
According to the Daily Mail, Spurs are ready to join the race for the Morocco international during the next transfer window.
The two clubs hold a strong relationship, and Ziyech also featured as Ajax defeated Spurs in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Ajax may consider offers in the region of £40m, although a bidding war may end up taking place given the level of interest in Ziyech.
