Manchester United are reportedly preparing to open talks with Jesse Lingard over a new contract at Old Trafford.
Lingard signed a new four-year deal with the Red Devils in 2017, increasing his weekly pay packet to around £100,000.
The 25-year-old has developed into a key figure at United following a slow start to his career, and according to Metro, the 20-time English champions want to reward the versatile attacker further.
The report claims that United will review the England international's contract later this year with the view to offering him a new and improved contract in 2019.
Lingard, who is currently on the sidelines with a groin problem, has scored 24 goals and registered 15 assists in 137 appearances in all competitions for United.
