Manchester United are reportedly lining up a sensational £88m bid for Real Madrid's Gareth Bale.
The Welshman is thought to have turned down the chance to move to Old Trafford in the summer of 2013 after accepting a transfer to Los Blancos.
However, Le 10 Sport claims that the European champions do not see the former Tottenham Hotspur flyer as being essential to their long-term plans.
Furthermore, Real are already understood to be lining up big-name targets to add to their collection of Galacticos, with Sergio Aguero and Marco Reus said to be high on their list.
United are understood to still be interested in signing Bale, but Bayern Munich's Arjen Robben is seen as a more realistic target for the Red Devils.
