Valencia and Real Sociedad are reportedly in a race to sign former Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani.
The 35-year-old is looking for a new club after leaving Manchester United at the end of last season following the expiry of his contract.
Cavani has attracted interest from the likes of Villarreal and Boca Juniors, while the forward is believed to have turned down an offer from Nice.
However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Valencia and Real Sociedad are both trying to sign the Uruguayan, who will decide on his new club soon.
A recent report indicated that Valencia had offered Cavani a €2m (£1.7m) a year deal to make the move to La Liga, but Real Sociedad have emerged as another potential destination after Alexander Isak left to join Newcastle United.
Cavani, who could be set to play in four of Europe's five top leagues, is currently in discussions over personal terms with the two clubs.
