Raphael Varane has said that Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba would be a "fantastic" addition to the Real Madrid squad.
Pogba has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford and Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has recently hinted at further transfers.
Varane knows Pogba well both on and off the pitch, with both men being part of the France squad that collected winners' medals at the 2018 World Cup.
Speaking after his team's recent pre-season defeat to Tottenham, Varane told reporters: "Pogba is a good player, I know him very well. For any team he would be fantastic.
"I trust my teammates. If new players come, we'll see. I trust my teammates."
Zidane is said to be 'confident' of sealing a deal to sign Pogba before the summer transfer window closes.
