Altay Bayindir's agent has played down suggestions that the Turkish goalkeeper could leave Manchester United before the end of the January transfer window.
The 26-year-old has featured on just four occasions for Man United since his arrival from Fenerbahce in the summer of 2023, with one of those outings coming last term, before playing three times this season in the EFL Cup.
Bayindir has conceded six times in his three appearances, though, and his performance against Tottenham Hotspur in the last round of the League Cup last month was heavily criticised.
Man United's number one Andre Onana is having his own problems, with the Cameroonian struggling for form, while number three Tom Heaton is out of contract at the end of the campaign.
The Red Devils could therefore sign at least two goalkeepers this year, with head coach Ruben Amorim believed to have identified the position as an area in need of a boost in 2025.
There have been suggestions that Bayindir could leave in January or at the end of the season in search of first-team action, but his agent Sefa Seyrek has insisted that his client wants to remain at Old Trafford.
Agent: 'Bayindir not looking to leave Man United'
"Altay had offers from many European clubs and the Premier League at the beginning of the season," Seyrek told Sports Digitale. "There are clubs interested in Altay now, but Altay wants to stay and play at Manchester United. The club definitely doesn't want to let Altay go."
Onana will again be between the sticks when Man United face Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday, and he will be aiming to keep a clean sheet for the first time since December 1.
The 28-year-old has only managed six clean sheets in 19 league outings this term, and Man United are said to be considering signing a new number one during this summer's transfer window.
Verbruggen 'among Man United's goalkeeping targets'
Brighton & Hove Albion's Bart Verbruggen is believed to be on Man United's radar, with the 22-year-old viewed as one of the best young stoppers in European football.
The Netherlands international has a contract at the Amex until June 2028, though, and he is also thought to be wanted by Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Royal Antwerp's Senne Lammens is also allegedly admired, with the 22-year-old in strong form at club level this term, although it is thought that he is viewed by Amorim as more of a number two.
Nice's Marcin Bulka has also previously been linked with a switch to Old Trafford amid claims that he could be available for a fee in the region of €20m (£16.6m), representing a relatively low-cost option in the current market. body check tags ::
