Manchester United interim manager Ryan Giggs has revealed that defender Phil Jones should be fit for the World Cup this summer, despite suffering a shoulder injury this week.
The 22-year-old is thought to have seen a specialist this week after injuring himself during Tuesday night's 3-1 victory over Hull City.
Fears that Jones could be ruled out of England's campaign in Brazil this summer arose after he was reportedly spotted leaving hospital with his arm in a sling.
However, Giggs told reporters in Friday's press conference: "He's out of Sunday's game but should be okay for the World Cup."
United will take on Southampton at St Mary's in their final game of the season.
